A Classic COD Mission Gets Its Own Spinoff

Image via YouTube

COD missions are incredible, and every year, developers seem to raise the bar even higher. COD 4: Modern Warfare took the cake with its legendary AC-130 gunship sequence, and now Dumbbell Games has used its concept to create a standalone game. The indie developer has already released the game, known as Metal Thunder, and it’s a big hit. Despite its lack of content, the game has great value for entertainment, and it’s cheap. Metal Thunder isn’t the first of its kind, and it probably won’t be the last unofficial COD spin-off after this much success. Read more about the game here.

STALKER 2 Will Make Your GPU Cry

Image via Xbox

There are two weeks left until STALKER 2 hits the shelves, which means that many have only two weeks left to sort out their gaming setup. For the game to work optimally, according to its Steam page, you need to have a top-end GPU with a good amount of FPS. Nvidia estimates even then you can’t go beyond 90 FPS, with the lower end of RTX 4000 not going beyond 45 FPS without DLSS. It’s still a mystery as to how this game will run and if there is even a GPU out there to handle it at 90 FPS. All the info we have is here.

Similarly to Fortnite, Overwatch has decided to offer a bit of a throwback to players by launching the Classic edition. Slightly older than Fortnite, Overwatch launched back in 2016 and was the start for a few of the gamers in the younger generation. The new “old” release will be limited but will take players down the history timeline of the game and refresh a few memories with old maps, heroes and modes. And yes, the old six-versus-six matches with no hero restriction will be back. Get ready for many six-Winston matches. For more information about this throwback, carry on reading here.

Arcane With Eye-Watering Budget After Season 2

It’s here, and it’s epic! The final season of Arcane is here already, and it’s had pretty epic reviews so far. No spoilers here! But we want to talk about the rumored record-breaking budget. The final number has neither been confirmed nor denied, but those working on the series have come forward to justify the amount, which would make Arcane “the most expensive animated series ever.” The relatively new venture is an important one for Riot Games, so it would come as no surprise if the numbers were true, and this was, in fact, the most expensive animated series ever. Read about the numbers and rumors here.

“The Veilguard has arrived—and it doesn’t disappoint.” Many have received the new Dragon Age edition with open arms, but some are surprised at how BioWare has played it so safe. Read the full review here.

  • Great God Grove (8.5/10) “Great God Grove is an immensely polished and precisely executed game, and that’s the most impressive part about it.”

  • Lego Horizon Adventures (6/10) “very repetitive and not a true representation of what makes Horizon special.”

  • Chicken Police: Into the Hive (4.5/10) “The second half of Into the Hive feels like something that has been merely blocked out.”

  • My Sims Cozy Bundle (Nov. 19)

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 4 (Nov. 19)

  • Towers of Aghasba (Nov. 20)
