If Concord’s early shut down wasn’t bad enough, this week Sony’s confirmed even worse news for this shooter, putting the final nail in its coffin. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, on the other hand, has chosen to learn from its mistakes in an attempt to right the wrongs featured in the latest update.

Sony recently announced the closing of Firewalk Studios, the company responsible for the disastrous Concord. Released earlier in the year and with a budget of almost $4 million, the game sold a mere 25,000 copies. The shock shutdown comes after the game was pulled from the servers only two weeks after its release in early September. The shutdown of the company will impact around 210 staff members, but there doesn’t seem to be another solution for the global giant Sony. Read more about this news here.

Following an early access that went live earlier in the year, The Forever Winter has been topping the charts when it comes to popularity, its intense gameplay and co-op extraction shooter style. As a result, developer Fun Dog pushed out a new demo that can be accessed on Steam in hopes of convincing players who haven’t yet been converted that the game is all it’s cracked up to be. The developers took the game in a direction that some weren’t expecting, forcing players to rely on a resource that adds an element of strategy. Due to this tricky intervention, there have been mixed reviews. Read more about their attempt to convince potential players here.
